BlackRock’s staked Ethereum ETF records $15.5M in first-day trading
#BlackRock ’s iShares Staked #Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) recorded more than $15.5 million in trading volume on its first day. The exchange-traded fund launched with over $100 million in assets and is the firm’s first crypto #ETF to include staking of Ether.
The fund plans to stake between 70% and 95% of its holdings, with the remaining portion held for liquidity and operational needs.

#Circle has become the largest issuer of tokenized U.S. Treasury securities after its #USYC fund grew to about $2.2 billion in supply. The fund has overtaken #BlackRock ’s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund #BUIDL , issued with Securitize, which holds around $2 billion in assets.
BUIDL’s market share has declined to about 18% from a peak of 46% in May as new competitors entered the sector.

The #EthereumFoundation said it sold 5,000 $ETH to #BitMine Immersion Technologies, a firm linked to investor Tom Lee, for about $10.2M. The sale was completed at an average price of $2,042.96 per coin.
The foundation said the transaction is part of its treasury management and will support operations including research, ecosystem development, and grants related to #Ethereum .

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of #Ethereum , said the network’s ecosystem should remain open to reconsidering the separation between beacon and execution clients.
Buterin noted that running two separate daemons and coordinating them adds complexity for users who operate their own nodes. He suggested that, in the short term, standardized deployment tools such as Docker-based wrappers could simplify the process.

$USDC surpasses $USDT in year-to-date transaction volume
Transaction volume for #USDCoin #USDC has surpassed that of #Tether #USDT for the first time since 2019.
The bank reported that USDC recorded about $2.2 trillion in adjusted transaction volume year-to-date, compared with $1.3 trillion for USDT, giving USDC roughly 64% of the combined volume between the two stablecoins.

CFTC issues guidance on manipulation risks in prediction markets
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission #CFTC has released new guidance addressing potential manipulation and insider trading risks in prediction markets.
The agency said exchanges can continue using the self-certification process to launch new event contracts but encouraged them to consult with regulators early when developing markets that could carry higher risks of price distortion or manipulation.
