Lisk announced in an official blog post that Lisk Chain ceased operations on November 2, 2026. Lisk said the company will transform into a modern financial platform serving businesses. LSK will continue to serve as Lisk's loyalty token on Ethereum. Following the shutdown, the approximately 5.2 million LSK remaining in the staking rewards contract will be burned.
