What I like most about Covenants is the idea that “instructions stay completely sealed until the conditions are met.” Put simply, you don't have to reveal your hand in advance: your trading strategies, stop-loss orders, and auction bids can all stay hidden, preventing others from front-running you.
After Dusk launches on mainnet, there are two things I'm most looking forward to: first, permissionless nodes getting up and running for real, so people can stake NIL to take part in decryption and settlement and earn tangible rewards; and second, Covenants expanding to multiple EVM chains in the later Darkfall phase, where cross-chain condition triggers can really come into their own. For now, I'm just waiting to see how stable the mainnet is.
Today, I completed a spot trade of $NIL on Binance (trade-sharing card attached) because I'm very bullish on the ecosystem's growth.
