TRON PREPARES QUANTUM-RESISTANT PROTECTION FOR MAINNET
Justin Sun says TRON’s quantum-resistant cryptography is running on testnet and could be deployed to mainnet at any time. He says TRON could become one of the few major blockchains preparing for Q-Day, when quantum computers become powerful enough to break today’s security standards.
In my view, this signals that blockchain networks are beginning to treat quantum resistance as part of long-term security planning, rather than focusing only on speed and transaction fees. However, technology running on testnet does not mean the entire network is already protected on mainnet. Security will depend on implementation, independent testing, and compatibility with existing wallets, smart contracts and infrastructure.
If TRON publishes clear technical details and audit results, the market will have a stronger basis for evaluating the claim. Do you think quantum resistance will soon become an important factor when choosing a blockchain? If this logic makes sense, drop a follow for more market breakdowns.
