13 CRYPTO PROJECTS PREPARING FOR A NEW ERA OF SECURITY!
Everyone is talking about quantum computers. Some fear they’ll one day hack crypto wallets, while others are already preparing defenses.
Here’s a list of projects related to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) 👇
🔹 $ALGO — Falcon-1024 for mainnet accounts.
🔹 $XNT — zk-STARK and privacy with a claimed quantum-resistant approach.
🔹 $CELL — several post-quantum cryptography algorithms: Falcon, Dilithium, and Kyber.
🔹 $QRL — hash-based signatures since the project’s launch.
🔹 $QANX — Dilithium algorithm; mainnet launch is still pending.
🔹 $ABEL — lattice-based cryptography and privacy.
🔹 $NAORIS — post-quantum cryptography and a live mainnet.
🔹 $STRK — STARK proofs and the option to use wallets with Falcon signatures.
🔹 $CKB — SPHINCS+ on mainnet without the need for a hard fork.
🔹 $ZEC — transition to post-quantum protection targeted for 2027.
🔹 $HBAR — roadmap for migration to Falcon (FN-DSA).
🔹 $IOTA — has used Ed25519 since 2021; a transition to post-quantum cryptography is planned.
🔹 $XDC — roadmap for hybrid protection with ML-DSA and Falcon.
⚠️ But there’s an important caveat: having STARK proofs or plans to implement PQC doesn’t mean the entire network is already protected against quantum attacks. It’s important to consider the type of signatures, implementation status, and exactly which blockchain components are protected.
👀 Special attention goes to $STRK. Starknet is advancing quantum resistance, including Falcon wallets. If the technology sees widespread adoption, it could become one of the project’s competitive advantages.
The quantum threat doesn’t mean the crypto market is on the verge of collapse. But projects that prepare their infrastructure for a new era of security in advance may be in a stronger position.
