If you're still trusting crypto mining pitches without checking where the money actually goes, stop now.
Too many investors chase “passive income” narratives and only ask hard questions after the withdrawals slow down. By then, the entry is gone, the exit is crowded, and the story starts falling apart.
The SEC complaint says only about 13% of the funds went toward the supposed mining operation. Most of the money allegedly went to marketing, personal expenses, and unrelated businesses, while at least $20 million more was collected than returned. That’s a brutal reminder that a $BTC mining label doesn’t automatically mean real revenue.
To be fair, mining can be a legitimate business when the numbers match the claim: hardware, electricity, operating costs, and transparent output. But if a project raises around “mining” while barely funding the actual machines, I’d argue it’s closer to a cash funnel than a crypto investment. Same lesson applies across $BTC, $ETH, and $BNB narratives: the business model matters more than the buzzword.
Would you still consider mining-linked investments, or is this sector too risky now? #Bitcoin #Crypto #Investing
