Like most people, you stay up late chasing rises and falls, and in the end, you lose sleep. But fortunately, I found a method that, although clumsy, slowly helped me stabilize my footing and gradually start making profits!

This is my survival rule, and today I share with you a few experiences I learned from my losses:
1. Learn to trade at “off-peak” times
I have a habit of waiting until after 9 PM, when the day's noise settles and the trend structure is clear, to assess opportunities. This can avoid a lot of emotional trades.
2. Let the tools speak, not your feelings
Before placing an order, cross-verify several basic indicators: MACD golden cross/death cross, RSI overbought/oversold, and whether the price truly breaks the Bollinger Bands. When multiple indicators resonate, the odds are greater.
3. Always protect your profits and principal
When you have floating profits, immediately move the stop-loss to the cost price to ensure you don't lose. If you can't monitor the market, set a hard stop-loss (e.g., -3%), which is necessary insurance.
4. Find rhythm in simple cycles
For short-term trading, mainly look at the 1-hour chart. Two consecutive solid bullish candles are a positive short-term signal. When the market is sideways, switch to the 4-hour chart to find key support/resistance levels and only consider entry when they are touched.
5. Define your “do not touch” list
Stay away from altcoins with weak consensus and poor liquidity. If you don't participate, you will never become a target for the harvest.
Ultimately, this market rewards not the boldest, but the most disciplined and patient. Let go of the obsession to capture every fluctuation, and only then can you begin to steadily hold onto profits.
