I relied on cryptocurrency trading to roll from 100,000 to 130 million in net assets.
The things below, if I had figured them out two years earlier, I would have at least avoided 60 million in detours.

1️⃣ Small funds, don't be diligent
Under 100,000, only do one trade a day. Staring at the market every day = working for the exchange. Wait for a big fluctuation, enter → exit. Any trade lasting over 3 hours is a failed trade.
2️⃣ When good news is confirmed, it's a scythe
When a project announces good news, if you don't run on the same day, it will crash the next day. High open and low close is the norm in the crypto circle. Remember this: when the news comes out, the money should leave.
3️⃣ Before major events, go to cash
Federal Reserve, interest rate hikes, major meetings—reduce positions 2–3 days in advance. If unsure, clear out and watch the show. Following the market after it moves is always safer than betting on direction.
4️⃣ For medium to long-term, never be fully invested
Even if you think it can increase 10 times, start with 30%. The remaining money should wait for a pullback. If there’s a 20% retracement, you can still smile; those fully invested will only cry.
5️⃣ Only trade in “volatile” markets for short-term
For sharp rises and falls, look at the 15-minute level. KDJ: J > 100, prepare to exit; J < 0, look for opportunities to enter sideways markets, better not to trade.
6️⃣ Be decisive with stop-losses
If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. A -3% loss must be cut. Holding onto positions is not faith, it’s slow suicide. Stop-loss is not losing money; it’s giving the next opportunity a chance to survive.
7️⃣ If your mindset is unstable, no matter how much you earn, you can't hold onto it
I’ve seen too many people: earn 5 million → end up losing 8 million. The crypto circle isn’t afraid of you earning little; it’s afraid of your inflation, getting high, and not accepting defeat.
