Losing a trade can make you feel frustrated - usually towards yourself, due to making a wrong decision.

However, we all make mistakes - it's an important way to learn. If that happens to you, and it will inevitably happen someday, deal with the problem wisely to learn from it and jot down your notes on what you should do differently next time.

One common behavior in moments of anger is trying to get back into the market by making another trade. This type of quick and uncalculated reaction – or "trigger trading" – is always considered a bad idea. Instead, you might start buying anything and everything indiscriminately. This process is called "shotgun trading".

Take a moment to sit quietly while taking a deep breath, and then think objectively about whether your proposed trade actually makes sense and aligns with your overall trading strategy.
