The relationship between China and Israel is facing a critical test. I just saw that Israel actually invited the so-called "deputy minister" of Taiwan's foreign affairs department to visit, undermining Israel's initial commitment on the "One China" issue.

A hand cannot clap alone. The Taiwanese authorities have always been seeking "diplomatic space," and now Israel's response to the Taiwanese authorities' demands is almost not ambiguous, but rather approaching a "public response."

Could it be that China has provoked Israel? Some people domestically think so. In their view, China has supported Hamas. This is absurd. The humanitarian crisis created by Israel in the Gaza Strip has triggered global outrage. Almost the entire world, except for a few countries like the United States, is condemning Israel. This is not a reason for Israel to collude with the Taiwanese authorities.

As expected, the Chinese Embassy in Israel has now publicly stated its position. If Israel insists on going its own way, it will inevitably face consequences they do not want to see. Think about what role China can play in the Middle East situation.

That being said, it is necessary to draw attention to the fact that the Taiwanese authorities have been very active recently. Israel is just one angle we need to keep an eye on; what about Honduras? In short, we cannot be complacent.
