After 11 years of struggling in the cryptocurrency world, I turned an initial investment of 20,000 into 80 million and can finally retire in peace. During these 11 years, I didn't rely on insider information or luck; it was all based on a system I relentlessly pursued. Many people laughed at my method, but it was precisely this simple system that allowed me to steadily succeed and achieve an eight-figure net worth.
The logic of this system is clear: use three lines to determine direction, the 50-day moving average to assess short trends, the 200-day moving average to distinguish between bulls and bears, and volume to discern the authenticity of the market.
During the market surge in 2017, when Bitcoin just broke through 5,000 USD, the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day moving average.
Trading volume surged to three times the six-month average, and I decisively invested 3 million. This wave allowed my assets to break the 10 million mark for the first time.
Reaching this point wasn't about seizing every opportunity for rapid gains, but rather about knowing when to hold back.
My system has three iron rules that must be strictly followed:
First, the position in a single cryptocurrency should not exceed 15%; diversifying positions is not about being timid, but about long-term survival;
Second, the stop-loss line is a lifeline. If a mainstream cryptocurrency drops below the 50-day moving average by 8%, I immediately cut losses;
Third, I conduct a maximum of three trades per month. I aim for fewer trades but strive for precision.
Just last week, the system indicated that Ethereum touched the 200-day moving average for the third time, with trading volume shrinking to extremely low levels.
I bought with a light position of 8%, and when it rose by 15%, I took profits, and my account balance just reached the 80 million retirement threshold.
Looking back at my journal from those years, it says: "Retire once I make 80 million." Now, the dream has come true!
Over the years, I've seen too many people rise and fall; some became rich by going all-in, only to lose everything quickly.
I chose to seek steady progress, letting the system make judgments for me. So, I am not a gambler but a firm executor.
Every penny is earned clearly. I plan to archive this system now.
However, before exiting, I might take one last group of people through this complete thought process. This may be the last time, and those who understand will naturally come.
