This volatility is dizzying! Even the major alternative cryptocurrencies can be caught in the gears of price manipulation when holdings are concentrated in the hands of a small group. It only takes a few major players to shake the entire market.
This observation leads me to closely follow the strategy of the Pi Core team:
đč They strive to build a sufficiently robust ecosystem before fully opening up to the market.
đč They minimize the risk that one person or organization holds an excessive amount of Pi.
đč They reduce the risk of price manipulation during the initial phase.
đč They create a distribution model that is more community-focused. Not all projects adopt this approach of 'slow and steady development'.
If Pi truly adheres to this philosophy, it will be a highly humanitarian and beneficial measure for the sustainability of the project.
