Just sharing a raw moment from earlier today… This is just a tiny grid bot on SOLUSDT Perpetual, 10x leverage, only ~$56 margin. Nothing crazy, literally pocket change for most traders. And yet… seeing that -0.64 USDT (-1.13%) in red after 9 hours still hit me harder than I expected. Heart rate went up, stomach dropped a little, the usual. Only 64 cents, man… sixty-four cents. I’ve spent more on coffee without blinking. If a loss this small can make me feel like this, I honestly don’t know how I’ll react when it’s real money one day — thousands, maybe tens of thousands on the line. One wrong move, one liquidation, and it’s not just numbers anymore. Lesson of the day (again): the pain isn’t proportional to the dollar amount. It’s proportional to how unprepared your mind is. So yeah… still working on the psychology part. Still reminding myself that drawdowns are part of the game, no matter the size. Still telling myself: get comfortable being uncomfortable, because one day the stakes will be higher and I’d better be ready when they are. Small loss today, big reminder. Grateful for it.
