šØ REAL EXPERIENCE ā How I Escaped a P2P Scam
Today Iām sharing a real incident from my own trading experience so others donāt fall into the same trap.
š§¾ What happened?
I started a trade on Binance P2P.
Right after placing the order, the other person contacted me on WhatsApp and said:
> āYou need to verify your USDT.ā
Then they started:
Talking about wallet verification
Asking for screen sharing
Requesting wallet details
Trying to move the chat outside Binance to WhatsApp
Thatās when I realized something was wrong.
---
šØ The Scam Strategy
They sent a fake payment screenshot and tried to rush me by saying: āConfirm quickly.ā
But I: ā
Took no action outside the Binance platform
ā
Stopped the transaction immediately
ā
Raised an official appeal
š Only after the appeal, my funds were secured.
---
š§ Important Awareness (Please Read)
ā There is no such thing as āUSDT verificationā
ā Being asked to move to WhatsApp/Telegram is a major red flag
ā Never screen share or send wallet screenshots
ā
Only follow Binance chat and official processes
---
ā
Final Warning
If anyone tells you: āVerify your walletā
āCome to outside chatā
āDo screen shareā
š Understand this clearly ā ITāS A SCAM
Your funds are safe only when you stay inside Binance.
ā ļø Stay alert. Stay safe.
