$BEAT dropped 36% in a day, can we still look at this coin?
Today’s biggest loser, $BEAT plummeted from $4 straight down to $2.58. If you jumped in at the highs this week, you must be feeling pretty rough right now.
Let’s talk about why it’s dropping. This coin surged 270% over the week, shooting up from under $1 to nearly $8, with an ATH of $10.99. You've seen this pattern before—after a massive pump, there’s always a correction, that's not new news. Plus, with Anthropic being forcibly delisted in the US, the AI narrative hype is waning, and early profit-takers are bailing out in droves, which is totally normal.
Has the fundamentals changed? Honestly, not much. Audiera is an AI + rhythm game project, close to 1 million registered users, generating real revenue of $2.87 million weekly, and burning 770,000 BEAT tokens each week, with over 12.35 million tokens burned in total. This data holds real weight in the AI sector, it’s not just pure speculation.
But the issue lies in the tokenomics. There are 288 million tokens in circulation out of a total supply of 1 billion, with a significant amount of tokens yet to be unlocked. The upcoming releases from developers, investors, and ecosystem funds will continue to exert selling pressure. That’s a major red flag.
Is it time to bottom fish? My take is that it’s not the right moment yet. Support at $5 and $6 has already been breached, and technically we’re in a downward trend with lower highs and lower lows. If you absolutely have to enter, at least wait until it stabilizes around $2 for some signs of support. Rushing to bottom fish is likely to get you buried.
The real opportunity lies in the delivery of Stage 3—AI Agents directly participating in economic activities. If this narrative can materialize in Q3 this year, BEAT might see another rally. But that’s a future issue.
At this position, sitting on the sidelines is smarter than making a move.
