Did you know? A smart attacker just pulled off an exploit on Hyperbridge, Polkadot’s cross-chain bridge by minting 1 billion bridged $DOT on Ethereum in a single move. With liquidity being thin, they quickly dumped the tokens and walked away with 108.2 $ETH  around $237K.
The good news? This only affected the bridged version on Ethereum. Native DOT and the wider Polkadot ecosystem are untouched and secure.
