The Block says WLFI is close to getting approved by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to run its own federally regulated bank.

nothing official yet but former OCC people say it's almost certain. one even called rejecting it unthinkable.

right now different companies handle $USD1 :
> creating it
> managing the reserves
> keeping it safe
> swapping it for other coins

if approved it all comes under one roof, regulated by the US government.

USD1 becomes a real settlement layer, not just a trading coin.

Gold just did something it hasn't done since 2023!! 💥

$XAUT dropped below its 200 day average this month, the first time that's happened in over two years.

The metal had stayed above this long term line through its entire run up, so breaking below it was a real sign of weakness.

But it didn't stay down. Gold reclaimed the line and bounced off the lows, back to $4,341.

This is the kind of swing you'd expect from crypto, not the asset everyone calls a safe haven.

All eyes on whether it can hold above the 200 day from here.

$HYPE is back 🟢

$HYPE dropped all the way to $52.58 a few days ago and a lot of people thought it was done.

now it's back at $72.06. that's +37% from the bottom in less than a week and only about 5% away from a new ATH ($75.67).

while most coins were still falling, $HYPE was one of the first to come back. it took back every level it lost on the way down.

the strong ones always bounce first.

still watching how it holds here but the recovery looks real.

Coinbase CEO thinks the bottom is in for $BTC

Brian Armstrong thinks $BTC already bottomed around $60K. Still long, still bullish, expecting way higher by 2030.

He's pointing to the 4-year halving cycle, staying long and expects much higher prices by 2030.

Calls Bitcoin "the new digital gold."

He did add "nobody can say for sure" but coming from the CEO of the biggest US exchange, it's worth paying attention to.
