$BTC $ETH I’m watching both charts side by side, and the message is becoming impossible to ignore.
#BTC and #ETH are both losing structure at the same time.
This isn’t just random red candles.
This isn’t another “healthy correction” tweet from people trying to farm engagement.
This is a market that has been weakening for weeks while everyone kept calling every bounce “the bottom.”
📉 Bitcoin rejected again near major resistance and instantly lost momentum.
📉 Ethereum did the exact same thing:
• same rising structure
• same exhaustion
• same rejection
When BTC and ETH weaken together, liquidity starts leaving the entire market.
Most traders only watch candles.
I watch behavior.
And the behavior has changed:
⚠️ Buyers are weaker
⚠️ Rallies are shorter
⚠️ Every pump gets sold faster
⚠️ Volume looks less convincing
That’s what distribution often looks like before volatility expands.
Now add this to the mix:
🔥 Open interest near cycle highs
🔥 Heavy leverage everywhere
🔥 ETF momentum slowing
🔥 Risk appetite fading
🔥 Repeated rejection at resistance
That’s not a bullish combination.
And this is where retail usually gets trapped.
Breakdowns rarely happen in one candle.
First:
➡️ momentum fades
➡️ highs get weaker
➡️ support starts cracking
➡️ panic follows later
The real move usually comes AFTER denial.
Ethereum especially looks vulnerable right now.
ETH has been underperforming BTC for weeks while exchange reserves rise and longs remain crowded. That becomes dangerous if support breaks cleanly.
Now let’s be clear:
A rising wedge is NOT a guaranteed crash signal.
Sometimes these patterns even break upward.
But context matters.
And right now the context looks ugly.
I’m not saying the bull market is over forever.
I’m saying this is the phase where blind optimism becomes expensive.
That’s a huge difference.
If BTC loses major support, sentiment will flip fast.
The same people posting moon targets today will suddenly blame “market manipulation” tomorrow.
That’s how crypto cycles always work.
For me, this is NOT the time to chase random altcoins because influencers posted rocket emojis 🚀
This is the time to:
✅ protect capital
✅ stay patient
✅ wait for confirmation
✅ avoid emotional trades
Because when BOTH BTC & ETH start breaking structure together…
the market is usually warning you before the crowd realizes it.
