Furthermore, the network also supports custom gas tokens, meaning users can use stablecoins or other assets to pay fees, not necessarily having to hold the native token. As a result, the experience for both end-users and developers becomes more flexible.

I personally evaluate Plasma as one of the most interesting projects last year that set a new standard for blockchain serving payments: high processing speed, low fees, scalability, and optimization for real-world stablecoin cash flows.
