🧠 No one tells you this when you start in crypto — and it’s the most important thing. When I entered the crypto world, I got lost in strange terms. Today I’ll explain the 5 concepts I wish I had known from day 1 👇
️⃣ Wallet It’s not just an app. It’s your identity on the blockchain. Whoever has your seed phrase → has all your money. Never share it. With anyone. Ever.
️⃣ Blockchain It’s a public and immutable ledger. Imagine a giant notebook that thousands of computers keep at the same time and no one can erase. That’s where $BTC resides. That’s where all the tokens live.
️⃣ Gas Fee It’s the cost of using the network. When you send $ETH , you pay a small commission to the network validators. More traffic on the network = higher fees.
️⃣ HODL It was born from a typo in 2013. Someone meant to write "HOLD" and ended up writing "HODL". Today it means: holding your crypto without selling even when the market dips. Those who HODLed $BTC in 2018 multiplied x7.
️⃣ Airdrop Free tokens that projects give away to grow their community. Binance Square has active airdrops right now. You just need time — not money. Which of these did you not know before reading this? 👇
