Can we please start understanding that having followers on Twitter doesn’t automatically make you a KOL?
Someone with 50k+ followers doesn’t instantly become a KOL — that’s just a crypto influencer. A real KOL is a Key Opinion Leader: someone with a strong, engaged community that genuinely trusts their research, insights, and judgment.
A KOL isn’t just a big account with zero volume or no real impact.
At the same time, someone with 2k followers can’t really call themselves a KOL either. Influence isn’t about ego — it’s about impact, credibility, and the trust you’ve built over time.
Please start learning how this actually works and understand the difference between a KOL and an influencer.
