• The trader tried to buy AAVE using $50M in one transaction.
• There wasn’t enough liquidity for such a large order.
• The swap caused the price to spike massively during the trade.
• As a result, the trader received only ~324 AAVE (~$36K).

In short: The order was too big for the available liquidity, causing a huge loss during the swap.
