Here’s a series on the various money traps in P2P trading.

When you sell $USDT and the buyer has one name but the money comes from another, you need to be cautious.
This is a pretty common trick: Binance shows the buyer as Nguyễn Văn A, but the funds are transferred from Trần Văn B's account.
This could be a sign of a third-party transaction or using someone else's account to dodge detection. When you unlock the assets, they might report to the bank claiming it was a "wrong transfer," making it tough for you to prove you were selling USDT to Mr. A.

Additionally, pay close attention to the bank names and account numbers. Some scammers create two bank accounts with similar names (e.g., VietBank and VietinBank), with the same account holder and account number. If you're not careful, it’s easy to get tricked into sending money to the wrong account, and even if you try to report it, getting your funds back can be a challenge.

Advice:
🔥 Make it clear to the buyer that you only accept funds from the original account holder.
🔥 Always check the sender's name and bank name on your banking app before hitting Release.
🔥 If it's a large amount and the names don’t match, pause the trade and request bank verification.

A little caution can help you avoid losing tens to hundreds of millions.
