Continuing the series of tricks to bite into your funds in P2P trading:
1. Case: Laura Felzien's account shared a trade with Tailoc24h_Asean with a sell order of 100$ at a price of 2,661,135 VND. However, the actual amount transferred by the buyer was 2,166,135 VND.
The difference is 495,000 VND (equivalent to $18.6)

2. Buyer - What did they violate?
a. On Binance P2P:
Violation of P2P rules for not paying the full amount as per the order. Binance could open a dispute and hold USDT in Escrow until resolved.
b. Under Vietnamese law
They may be scrutinized under Article 174 of the Penal Code 2015 (amended 2017) if it can be proven that the buyer intentionally transferred a lesser amount to receive USDT and caused damage to the seller.
However, the difference of only about 495,000 VND (~$18–20) is often not enough evidence for immediate criminal prosecution, prioritizing civil handling.
If the behavior is repeated multiple times or there is evidence acknowledging intentional underpayment, liability may still be pursued.
Additionally, the buyer could:
🔥 Face administrative penalties related to digital asset transactions under the Digital Technology Industry Law 2026.
🔥 Get their Binance account permanently locked.
3. What should the seller do?
Step 1: Immediately (within 15–30 minutes)
Do not click “Money Received,” do not release USDT before checking bank statements.
Keep all evidence:
🔥 P2P order.
🔥 Chat content.
🔥 Statement showing the receipt of 2,166,135 VND and the transferor's details.
🔥 Money transfer notification.

Step 2: File a complaint on Binance
Go to the order → select Appeal.
Submit all evidence.
Binance will hold USDT in Escrow and review the dispute.

Step 3: If further action is needed
Report to the police, providing complete screenshots, chats, and statements.
