The three major U.S. stock indices showed mixed movements in early trading. According to RTHK, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down by 180 points, or 0.37%, at 49,214 points. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index rose slightly by 1 point to 6,863 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 42 points, marking a 0.19% rise, to reach 22,725 points.
