🚨 Binance loses access to much of the European Union market

Binance has suspended many services for users across the European Union after failing to obtain a license under the EU's new Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations. Users in affected countries can generally withdraw assets and close positions, but many trading and registration services have been restricted.

At the same time, nearly 1,700 UK investors have filed a lawsuit in London seeking at least £150 million in damages. The lawsuit alleges Binance offered high-risk crypto derivatives without the required regulatory approval. Binance says it will defend the case and remains committed to complying with the law.
