On November 5, 2026, Samsung confirmed Stablecoin Account is live in Samsung Wallet. Eligible U.S. Galaxy owners (18+, Android 13 or later, excluding New York) can buy, hold, send, and receive $USDC settled on Solana, across about 82 million compatible devices. Transfers to other Samsung Wallet users or compatible external wallets carry no Samsung transfer fee; payouts to qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries can arrive in local currency, with destination fees.
Licensed custodian Bastion runs the accounts and remittance rails, with Coinbase Prime Vault as USDC sub-custodian. Credit-card top-ups carry a 4% fee; a first top-up of 50 dollars or more can credit 25 USDC. Samsung says it will explore in-app and tap-to-pay stablecoin payments and more markets next.
