$BTC $SOL Evening market recap: U.S. stock futures edge higher, but crypto still hasn’t caught up
BTC fell back below 80,000 today, currently around 79,910, trading in a range of 79,451–80,845 throughout the day.
SOL was weaker, briefly dipping below 100 intraday. It’s currently around 100.24, with a low of 99.16 for the day.
ETH is around 2,312, also slightly lower. All three major coins ended the day down.
The divergence continues: U.S. stock futures edged higher (S&P 500 around +0.25%, Nasdaq around +0.46%), while crypto failed to keep up. The FOMC meeting today is one of the main reasons.
The daily RSI we discussed in the midday lesson was around 40—weak, but not oversold—and today’s price action confirmed that view.
What to watch tomorrow: the Fed’s decision on Wednesday, Microsoft and Google earnings after the close, and PCE data on Thursday.
These are my personal views and notes, not investment advice. Follow me for more updates.
