• TIA reached an 11-month high near $0.71 after the Eden Chain launch.

  • Trading volume, Open Interest, and short liquidations surged alongside the rally.

  • Bullish technical indicators suggest potential upside toward $0.80 if momentum continues.

Celestia has returned to the spotlight after a strong price rally pushed TIA to levels not seen in nearly a year. Traders have responded positively to recent developments, including the launch of Eden, a new EVM chain from the project. Rising trading activity, growing derivatives interest, and bullish technical indicators have added fuel to the move. With momentum building, many market participants now watch closely for the next major breakout level.

TIA climbed to $0.71 on Oct. 16 after rebounding from a recent low near $0.52. At the time of writing, the token traded around $0.68. Daily gains reached roughly 28%, while trading volume jumped 160% to $162 million. The latest surge followed the launch of Eden. Celestia describes Eden as an EVM chain designed to study onchain agent behavior. The announcement brought renewed attention to the ecosystem and coincided with a sharp increase in buying activity.

Market analysts also noted a significant technical breakout. Crypto analyst Rekt Capital said TIA confirmed a move beyond a long-term accumulation range. According to the analyst, the token has gained roughly 50% since appearing on a recent altcoin watchlist. Derivatives markets reflected growing optimism. CoinGlass data showed $1.4 million in short liquidations during the rally.

Many traders betting against the token were forced to close positions as prices accelerated higher. Open Interest rose 45% to $142 million. Derivatives volume increased 110%, showing stronger participation across futures markets. Binance data also showed perpetual futures buy volume slightly exceeded sell volume. Such figures suggest buyers currently maintain a modest advantage.

Technical Signals Point to Continued Strength

Chart data supports the recent bullish narrative. TIA spent much of spring and summer trading between $0.30 and $0.40. During September and October, buyers steadily pushed prices higher. The 50-day moving average stands above the 200-day moving average. Such positioning often signals a healthy trend. Momentum indicators also favor buyers.

The daily MACD remains bullish, while the weekly RSI sits below overbought territory. Additional indicators paint a similar picture. The ADX positive index climbed to 31, while the negative index dropped to 7. Aroon Up reached 100%, highlighting strong upward momentum. Traders now focus on resistance near $0.725 and $0.73.

A breakout above that region could open a path toward $0.74 and potentially $0.80. However, support between $0.66 and $0.68 remains important. Failure to hold that range could trigger a pullback toward $0.50. Another notable development came earlier this month. Celestia Labs reported a Fibre benchmark reaching 3.07 terabits per second across 120 validators.
