In Stacks’ Q3 report, the most compelling numbers aren’t slogans—they’re real $BTC flowing in.

Since Bitcoin Staking launched on mainnet, the first two bonding rounds have brought in about 735 $BTC in total: Genesis Bond (September 10) filled up with 230 $BTC; Bond 2 (October 8) brought in 505 $BTC, nearly double that amount. About 483 $BTC went through stBTC from Stacking DAO—earning staking rewards while the position can also be used as collateral in DeFi.

The supporting data is strong too: $STX staking rebounded from about 392 million after the PoX-5 hard fork to around 493 million, up more than 25%. The first group of institutions includes 21shares, HashKey Cloud, UTXO Management, and Sypher Capital; on the custody side, Fireblocks, Fordefi, and Anchorage Digital are now connected. Muneeb Ali also officially took over as CEO of Stacks Labs on October 15.

Keep things in perspective: this is the bonding volume already achieved, as reported in the official ecosystem quarterly report—not the “next 100x narrative.” Subsequent bonding rounds will open monthly as planned, with capacity increasing each period. Whether more will be added, and how much, depends on whether the next round actually fills up. This is not investment advice.
