At 22:00 UTC on October 15, 2026—the equivalent of 6:00 p.m. in Venezuela—the USDT/VES order book monitored by PitbullChain presented an uncomfortable snapshot for generic “best exchanges” rankings: of all the platforms that usually appear on those lists, only two had active bolívar-denominated ads in the captured book. Binance and other platforms account for the 226 ads recorded in the order book. Nothing more.

That’s the starting point for this article: not a ranking, but a fact-check. How many listings are actually available, how much depth each platform provides for each bank, and how wide the price gap is when measured using the live order book rather than a daily average.

📊 The live order book: 226 listings and two exchanges

The order book’s totalAds field at the close of October 15 shows 226 active USDT/VES listings. The order book’s exchange list has two entries: Binance and other platforms. No other platform contributed price levels in bolívares in that snapshot.

Two things are worth clarifying before we continue:

• A platform’s absence from the order book doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or operate in Venezuela. It means it didn’t contribute depth to the order book that could be verified at that time.

• The same system’s opportunities panel reports 246 active offers (93 buy and 153 sell), alongside the order book’s 226 listings. The available data don’t explain this difference of 20. It may reflect two different counts—listings versus individual orders—but this couldn’t be confirmed. The discrepancy is reported as unresolved.

To follow the rest of the article, here are two quick definitions. Asks are offers where a trader gives USDT and receives bolívares: that’s where you buy USDT. Bids are offers where a trader buys USDT and pays bolívares: that’s where you sell USDT.

📈 Depth: 277,664 USDT on the buy side versus 113,062 USDT on the sell side

The order book is imbalanced. On the bid side, there are 277,664.01 USDT across 36 listings. On the ask side, there are 113,062.50 USDT across 33 listings. The system calculates the imbalance at 42.13%.

Breaking down that depth by platform (our own calculation based on the order book levels):

• Binance provides about 63.5% of the ask depth and around 91.3% of the bid depth.

• Other platforms provide 36.5% of the ask depth and just 8.7% of the bid depth.

In other words, anyone looking to sell USDT for bolívares will find many more counterparties, and almost all of them are on Binance. Anyone looking to buy has less volume available, and half of the depth on other platforms is concentrated in a few large listings.

The order book’s price range is 999.00 to 1,011.00 Bs, with most offers clustered between 1,004 and 1,009 Bs.

🔎 Availability by bank: Banesco sets the pace

This is the information that almost no comparison tool shows, and it determines whether or not a trade can be executed. Availability by bank as of October 15:

Bank Listings Score Liquidity Spread Exchange Banesco 33 98 32.7% 0.51% Binance and other platforms Bank of Venezuela 15 61 14.9% 0.46% Binance BANK 13 58 12.9% 0.47% Binance Mobile Payment 13 57 12.9% 0.89% Other platforms Other method 13 56 12.9% 1.10% Other platforms Mercantil 4 46 4.0% n/a Binance Provincial 2 43 2.0% n/a Binance BBVA 2 43 2.0% n/a Binance Reading the table:

• Banesco is the only bank available on both platforms and the only one with a score of 98. In the order book, it appears in offers totaling around 63,692 USDT, about 56% of all ask depth (our own calculation, counting the full level whenever Banesco is listed).

• Banco de Venezuela and BANK have good spreads (0.46% and 0.47%), but only on Binance. If that platform goes down or restricts your account, there’s no backup for those banks.

• Mobile Payment and “Other method” appear only on other platforms, and have the widest spreads in the group: 0.89% and 1.10%.

• Mercantil, Provincial, and BBVA have prices listed on only one side of the order book, so their spreads can’t be calculated. Provincial and BBVA have just 2 listings each.
