Ukraine has imposed sanctions on five cryptocurrency platforms: RAPIRA, ABCEX, Aifory Pro, WhiteBird, and MarketCoin.io. The relevant decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated September 30, 2026, was enacted by presidential decree No. 1037/2026 of October 11.
According to the decision, the sanctions were applied at the proposal of the National Bank of Ukraine. They provide for the termination of electronic communications services and blocking access to the platforms’ web resources in the territory of Ukraine.
The list includes five companies registered in different jurisdictions:
RAPIRA (Rapira Group) — Georgia;
ABCEX (Nueva Cryptologia) — El Salvador;
Aifory Pro (SOOTY LLC) — Marshall Islands;
WhiteBird — Belarus;
MarketCoin.io — Thailand.$ZEC
