Yesterday we closed with $BTC a bounce toward 83K, but with very few people driving it. Almost nothing changed this morning. It’s at 82,855 USDT (-0.21% in 24h), and today’s volume is 69% below the 7-day average. It’s less dead than yesterday, but the market is still asleep. The 4-hour RSI is at 46, neutral with no clear direction.
What I’d watch in BTC:
- Resistance: 83,500, the high of the last 48 hours. It touched that level but couldn’t stay there.
- Support: 80,400, the low for the last 48 hours and for the entire week.
- If 83,500 breaks with real volume, the next reference is 87,000, the 7-day high.
- If it closes below 80,400 on the 4-hour chart, I’ll consider the bounce invalidated.
Between those two levels, my plan would be to do nothing. Trading in the middle of a range without volume is just giving away money in fees.
The altcoin I’m watching most today is $SOL. It’s at 109.73, with a 4-hour RSI of 34—one of the weakest among the large caps and nearing oversold territory. The key level is 105.70, the 48-hour and 7-day low. Above that, the first levels are 112.90 and then 122.30. If it tests 105.70 and the RSI starts rising while the price holds the floor, that would be a reasonable area to gradually buy spot. If it breaks below, I’d step aside. ETH is in a similar situation, with an RSI of 36 and volume down 87%.
While the large caps are barely moving, the big gains are in small-cap coins: LUMIA +47%, MAGIC +43%, and BAT +31.6%. There’s also a lot of talk about STRK with #STRKRisesAbout20%In24Hours. Be careful with that rotation. When BTC is moving sideways without volume, those jumps are usually short-term speculation, not the start of a trend.
In P2P, Peru is quiet: USDT is around 3.44 soles, flat for the week (-0.09%). Venezuela is another story. It’s at 1,013.93 Bs, up 3.89% in 7 days, and the gap versus the BCV dollar (876.80) has already reached 15.6%. Anyone holding bolívares is feeling it.
This is not financial advice.
Are you waiting for 83,500 to break before making a move, or would you rather start building a SOL position if it gets close to 105?
