There’s a kind of market that can easily fool your emotions: it looks green, but not everyone is actually winning.
Today was exactly that kind of day.
BTC is holding up fairly well, so at a glance, many people might feel like the market is clearly getting stronger. But look a little closer and you’ll see that money isn’t flowing evenly at all. Some coins are surging quickly, while others are barely in the picture. And that unevenness is what I find most interesting today.
Because when the market starts to diverge sharply, the thing most likely to show up isn’t certainty—it’s FOMO.
A lot of people see a sea of green on the charts and think opportunity is everywhere. But in reality, it’s often the opposite: the easier a market looks, the more selective it becomes. The money hasn’t disappeared; it’s just flowing into the names getting more attention. If you don’t look carefully, it’s easy to jump in based on emotion, only to realize the coin you’re holding isn’t one the money is paying attention to.
Personally, I don’t think the market is weak right now. But it’s not rising clearly enough to let us get complacent, either. This is the kind of market where the crowd can get excited too early, while real opportunities aren’t spread evenly among everyone.
In short: the market is green today, but not all shades of green are the same.
What do you think—is the market quietly picking new leaders, or is this just a green bounce making the crowd think the broader trend is back?
