Nearly $1 billion was net withdrawn from ETFs in October — and $BTC still hasn’t truly broken down. That’s the real concern.
Just on Thursday, $244 million was pulled from Bitcoin ETF funds. That adds to an 8-day streak of $641 million in net outflows from Ether funds. Even BlackRock’s IBIT has slowed its buying as price hit this resistance zone.
At the time of writing, $BTC is at $82,499. As institutional support contracts, the short-term support levels below will no longer be naturally defended as before — and thin-liquidity futures are the ideal environment for a liquidation cascade to happen.
My view: it’s not time to catch the falling knife yet. I’m reducing leverage and waiting to see whether ETF flows show a clear reversal signal before getting back in. Without that signal, every rebound could be a trap.
