Citi lowered Novo Nordisk's price target from 310 Danish kroner to 296 Danish kroner and kept a neutral rating. According to Sina Finance, the bank said improving sales prospects for oral Wegovy support near-term revenue and profit forecasts, but limited long-term margin expansion led it to cut its earnings growth outlook for 2027 through 2030.
Citi also raised its 2026 and 2027 adjusted operating profit forecasts by 2% to 3% and lifted its adjusted sales forecasts by 3% and 1%, respectively. It increased its peak sales forecast for oral Wegovy from $10 billion to $13 billion, and said it expects oral Wegovy sales to reach 5.3 billion Danish kroner in the third quarter, above the market consensus of 4.5 billion Danish kroner.
