The reserve ratio is the ratio of the assets of a given cryptocurrency held by Binance to users’ net balances on the platform. A ratio of 100% means that for every 1 coin deposited by a user, the platform holds at least 1 coin of the same asset in reserve. Reserves are always maintained at a 1:1 ratio or higher to safeguard users’ funds.
