Tokenized Robinhood Chain shares have become part of speculative trading with meme coins, and the trading volume in “meme coin–share token” pairs at the beginning of September reached about $440 million per day, Bloomberg writes.

The trend formed in the US and other markets amid the growth of tokenization of traditional assets and the shift of retail trading to 24/7 on-chain marketplaces. This has allowed traders to use tokens tied to shares as liquidity for meme coins and create new speculative instruments around public companies.
A 27-year-old trader from Singapore, Low Che Sheng, who has been trading meme coins for about two years, typically bought them using cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum or Solana. Now he can exchange tokens tied to shares of Snap or Nvidia directly for meme coins through liquidity pools.$XRP
