🚨 Tyler Winklevoss: Zcash ($ZEC) Adoption is Still Extremely Early! The privacy narrative is heating up, and institutional giants are taking notice. Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss recently highlighted that Zcash adoption is still in its earliest stages, noting that only a tiny fraction of hands went up when asked who holds ZEC at recent major crypto events. This bullish sentiment comes on the heels of a massive 425%+ surge in ZEC over the past 12 months, alongside major developments like the proposed Winklevoss Zcash ETF filing on Nasdaq. However, it's not just institutional interest making headlines: The Privacy Debate: Winklevoss boldly argued that traditional "Know Your Customer" (KYC) frameworks are becoming a security risk ("Kill Your Customer"), positioning Zcash and encryption as essential human rights. On-Chain Concerns: Meanwhile, recent blockchain reports and on-chain analysts have flagged that threat actors and hackers are increasingly leaning towards privacy coins like ZEC to obscure and shield stolen exploit funds. The Big Question: Are privacy coins like Zcash gearing up for a massive super-cycle as institutional access opens up, or will regulatory scrutiny create hurdles? 💬 What’s your take on ZEC? Are you holding any in your portfolio? Let’s discuss below! 👇 #ZEC #Zcash #BinanceSquare #CryptoNews #PrivacyCoins #Altcoins #Winklevoss$USDC $ZEC
🚨 Monday hasn’t even arrived, and the crypto market is already calling it “Black Monday”!
BTC suddenly plunged over the weekend, then quickly rebounded.
Some people panicked and sold at a loss, others took the opportunity to buy the dip, and some are wondering whether things will get even worse when markets open on Monday.
But this time, I don’t think the most important thing to focus on is how much BTC fell.
It’s a fact that many people overlook:
The crypto market trades 24/7, yet it’s becoming increasingly susceptible to sentiment in traditional financial markets.
During this bout of volatility, BTC briefly dipped to around $80,750 before rebounding to around $82,000. ETH also fell to around $2,360.
More notably, some perpetual contracts tied to AI and semiconductor stocks also plunged rapidly.
This suggests the market may be worried about more than just Bitcoin itself.
U.S. inflation pressures, interest rate expectations, tech stock valuations, and global risk appetite are all influencing where money flows.
What worries me most isn’t BTC falling a few more percentage points.
It’s that so many people see the weekend rebound and rush to declare the danger over.
Trading volume and liquidity are usually lower on weekends than on weekdays. A price rebound doesn’t mean institutional money has already returned.
The real test may come after U.S. stocks open on Monday.
Here are three signals I’ll be watching:
① Can BTC hold above $80,000?
② Can U.S. tech stocks stop falling?
③ As BTC rebounds, is spot trading volume rising too?
If all three signals improve, this drop may have been nothing more than a sharp release of market anxiety.
If not, the weekend rebound may just be a brief respite.
I’m not going to guess whether prices will definitely rise or fall tomorrow.
But one thing is certain:
The market is often most dangerous not when everyone is panicking, but when prices rebound a little and people assume it’s all over.
Do you think Monday will bring a rebound after the panic subsides, or another round of declines?
Early stage: Builder Station Hongqiao Alibaba Center (Shanghai), launched this March and positioned as an incubator for developers. It focuses on core technologies and the developer ecosystem, with no public promotion of token trading.
New office The publicly reported location is Shanghai Tower in Lujiazui, revealed publicly in October. The official description is a technical office focused on AI, robotics, and core infrastructure, avoiding token-related promotion. Around the same time, the brand also appeared on a large outdoor screen at Citigroup Tower on the Bund.
【Latest remarks from Fed Chair Warsh: No pre-judgment on October/December rate cuts; no “free riders” in global tightening】Fed Chair Kevin Warsh delivered a major speech at the 2026 IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand, signaling multiple policy and economic messages. What impact could this have on the cryptocurrency market?
Impact on the cryptocurrency market * Macro liquidity comes under pressure, and BTC’s short-term correlation with U.S. equities rises * A short-term headwind for risk appetite: Cryptocurrencies are high-beta risk assets that rely heavily on ample global central-bank liquidity. The Fed is keeping its policy path for October and December “ambiguous,” while central banks around the world are tightening in tandem. This means expectations of abundant macro-level fiat liquidity may not materialize in the short term, potentially triggering a period of pullbacks or sharp volatility in BTC and altcoins. * Reinforces BTC’s “digital gold” status, while altcoins diverge * A medium- to long-term positive for BTC: Warsh has repeatedly called Bitcoin “digital gold” and a “wake-up call” about central-bank policy mistakes. Against a macro backdrop of the Fed and central banks worldwide taking a tough stance against inflation, while fiat purchasing power comes under pressure, the medium- to long-term case for BTC as a borderless hedge asset with a fixed supply will be further reinforced. * Altcoins and high-risk DeFi face a shakeout: Warsh is cautious, even skeptical, toward speculative tokens without real-world utility. Coupled with the Fed’s concerns about “financial stability risks” in investments in AI and other emerging technologies, altcoin projects lacking regulatory compliance and genuine cash flow may face a liquidity crunch. * The integration of stablecoins and TradFi slows * Synchronized tightening by central banks worldwide and the Fed’s close monitoring of financial stability risks mean that Fed oversight of the boundaries between crypto finance (such as algorithmic stablecoins, leveraged RWA, and crypto lending) and traditional banking is likely to become stricter. In the short term, the cost for institutional capital to enter the market through borrowing will remain high. 💡 Trading suggestions for crypto investors: Ahead of the October and December FOMC meetings, consider reducing high leverage and guarding against “data releases triggering sharp rallies or selloffs” amid the lack of forward guidance. For medium-term allocations, continue focusing on high-consensus blue-chip assets such as BTC, while watching out for liquidity squeezes in altcoins lacking sound fundamentals. $BTC
🔥 “Uptober” has turned into “Downtober.” BTC holds above $81,000 as quantum threats and a hardware wallet scandal hit at the same time.
The crypto market is broadly weak. Total market cap has fallen to around $2.75–$2.84 trillion, down 1%–3% over the past 24 hours. BTC is hovering around $81,500, down less than 1%; ETH is around $2,420–$2,430, also edging lower. Liquidations are still around $200 million, with longs continuing to get wiped out.
The biggest disappointment is that “Uptober” has completely failed to deliver. Historically, October has often been a strong month for BTC, but so far this year BTC is down nearly 4%, falling from around $84,800 at the start of the month to where it is now. ETH, XRP, and SOL are down more than 10%. Macroeconomic pressures are the main cause: hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation data, fading expectations of Fed rate cuts, a sell-off in AI tech stocks, and rising oil prices have weighed on risk assets across the board. ETFs are also seeing continued outflows, and institutional buying has slowed noticeably.
- Quantum threats are escalating: Nine crypto companies have formed the “Quantum Alliance” to address the potential risks quantum computing poses to the security of BTC and ETH public keys. This isn’t scaremongering—in the long run, it’s a real issue, though in the short term it’s more of a sentiment shock. - The Ledger hardware wallet scandal resurfaces: A researcher has alleged that Ledger received a report about malicious hardware implants as early as late 2025, and confirmed an investigation in March this year. Hardware wallets are supposed to be the “last line of defense” for security, but trust has taken another hit.
In the short term, the market is seeing “choppy trading at elevated levels + leverage flushes.” The $80,000 support level is holding for now, suggesting that big players are still buying the dip, but a quick return to the highs will be challenging. What will really determine the direction is the Fed’s rate path and inflation data. If interest rates stay high for even longer, crypto will find it hard to escape the pressure.
I remain bullish over the long term. The narrative of BTC as digital gold hasn’t changed, and institutional custody and ETF infrastructure continue to improve. Quantum threats and hardware security issues may actually push the industry to upgrade, ultimately benefiting projects with genuine technological moats.
At these levels, instead of chasing rallies and panic-selling, it’s better to manage your positions carefully. Those who can weather this “fake Uptober” are often the ones who really reap the rewards in the next cycle. Markets always reward patience, not emotion.
#BTC☀ Two scenes: one of a stone terrace among cloud-wreathed mountains, the other of a lotus pavilion in the rain. The second image is set in a lotus pavilion in the rain. Raindrops fall as lotus flowers bloom in stillness. The immortal child raises her palm, and Bitcoin floats between her and the crane. Gold coins are scattered across the surface of the lotus pond, sending ripples spreading outward in rings. Rain and lotus flowers represent reflection and inner cultivation; in the quiet, opportunity arrives unannounced. The crane bows its head, as if bearing witness to this precious value. It suggests that, with patience through the passage of time, one will find the rewards meant for them.
