September 23 WTI Crude Oil Intraday Analysis

The bearish energy in crude oil has not been fully released yet. Any rebound is only a correction during a decline. Do not mistake a brief pullback for a reversal—going with the trend gives you a better edge.

From an hourly chart perspective, the oil price previously faced downward pressure. After dipping to the 88.35 low, it rebounded slightly and is currently consolidating around 89.4. The near-term resistance above is 90.2, with a strong pressure level at 91.5. Support is at 87.6, and the key low is 86.5. The market is experiencing rebound pressure in the near term, and the bearish bias remains unchanged.

Intraday operations should focus on selling rallies (shorting on rebounds).
If the price rebounds into the 91.5–90.25 zone and gets rejected, you can consider placing short orders. The downside targets are around 87.6; if that level is broken, prices may further probe toward the 86 area. Crude oil is highly volatile, and evening data may trigger stop-hunting/whipsaws. Manage risk carefully, do not chase shorts blindly, and wait for opportunities where the rebound shows rejection.
