Edward Leedskalnin built the Coral Castle in Florida over a period of 28 years, starting in 1919. He carried out this work alone, mainly at night, by moving rock blocks weighing several tons. The purpose of this construction was his love for a woman who refused to marry him.

The method Leedskalnin used to move these massive blocks remains an unsolved mystery. He simply said that he had "pierced the secret of constructing the Egyptian pyramids".

Despite his small stature, he achieved an architectural feat considered impossible for a single person.

Coral Castle has become a mysterious site and an engineering feat that continues to spark theories. Some commentators suggest a range of hypotheses, from outside help to advanced techniques such as antigravity or magnetism.
