#circle上调2026年业绩指引

Circle, the first U.S.-listed stablecoin company (NYSE: CRCL), released its 2026 second-quarter earnings report. It not only swung sharply back to profitability (net profit of $48.2 million), but also boldly raised its full-year 2026 performance guidance by a large margin!

With macro rate-cut expectations fully priced in and U.S. Treasury yields trending lower, what gives Circle the confidence to raise its guidance against the grain? What signals does this send to the crypto market?

📊 1. Guidance raised: the growth engine no longer relies solely on “earning interest”

In the past, the market worried that rate cuts would weaken Circle’s reserve interest income, but this earnings report delivered a strong rebuttal:

  • Guidance for other income doubles directly: raise the full-year 2026 “other income” guidance from the original $150–$170 million to $310–$330 million (including Arc token presale revenue)!

  • Profit margin guidance also increases in parallel: RLDC profit margin guidance rises from 38%-40% to 41.7%-43.7%.

  • USDC on-chain transaction volume surges: in Q2, USDC on-chain transaction volume jumped to $148 billion (up 151% year over year), and the circulating supply at period end reached $73.3 billion.

🏛️ 2. Three major standout catalysts

Circle’s confidence to raise its guidance is driven by its deep layout across compliance, TradFi (traditional finance), and the AI ecosystem:

  1. Traditional finance Wall Street giants collectively “back” the Arc chain

Circle announced that its Arc mainnet will officially launch on September 16. The lineup of the first validation nodes is astonishing: BlackRock, DTCC, Visa, Mastercard, Standard Chartered, and Galaxy. Among them, BlackRock plans to deploy the BUIDL fund directly on Arc, while DTCC will推进 tokenization of custodied assets.

  2. Obtained a U.S. federal banking license

Received the final approval from the U.S. OCC to establish Circle National Trust, officially becoming one of the first stablecoin issuers in the U.S. to hold a federal banking license. It also received approval from New York State’s NYDFS to establish a trust company. The compliance moat is fully maxed out!

  3. Capturing the AI Agent economic payments pipeline

With the Agent Stack tools rolled out in May, over 900 paid AI services have already been integrated, and 99.3% of x402 agents’ micropayments use USDC for settlement. Circle is quietly becoming the “settlement currency of the AI era.”

💡 Summary and thoughts

Stablecoins are no longer just “off-exchange safe-haven assets” or “US Treasury arbitrage tools.” Circle is paving the commercialization path for stablecoins 2.0 through a compliance trust charter + a TradFi heavyweight alliance (Arc Chain) + an AI micropayments ecosystem.

For the crypto market, the 151% year-over-year growth in USDC on-chain trading volume suggests that the pace of real-world assets (RWA) and institutional-grade capital entering the market is accelerating.
