The market is now watching this new batch of USDC minted on Solana—not because the figure of 250 million is so wildly dramatic.

It’s because everyone wants to confirm one thing: does on-chain liquidity really intend to come back, or is it just circling around the doorway? 🥲

This whole idea of stablecoin minting is often like turning on all the lights before the mall opens.

The lights are on—but it doesn’t mean people have started going crazy and shopping.

But without the lights, no one will go in.

This time, Circle has minted another 250 million USDC onto Solana. I feel the market will watch it because it looks like a “liquidity preview trailer.”

Especially since before that it already accumulated 71.01 billion USDC minted, it doesn’t seem like a casual little top-up of pocket change—it’s more like the funding channel has been steadily widening.

My trader friend said to me last night that lately many people aren’t searching for the project that tells the best story—they’re trying to figure out where the money will actually go on which chain.

Honestly, at times like this, the direction of stablecoin flows is more real than narrative talk.

Now look at $BTC : spot is hovering around 65,599 and it’s up over the past 24 hours.

But contract trading volume is 7.8 times that of spot. It just looks a bit exhausting.

So it means the market looks lively on the surface, but underneath there are still many people propping up positions and fighting through sentiment with leverage.

Once this kind of market hears “USDC is coming again,” it’s easy for people to fill in the blanks and assume risk appetite is fully rebounding.

But I’m not that impulsive.

I’m more inclined to interpret it as: the money is willing to pour water into the pool first. As for whether it will immediately surge to buy coins and buy into the ecosystem—that depends on on-chain activity and how well trading will absorb the flow afterward.

After I got out of the shower and checked the chart, the little bean was lying by the keyboard, even calmer than I was.

Cats know that between the money arriving and the market taking off, there’s a whole stretch of emotion and timing. 😂

So my stance toward this news is moderately bullish—but I’m not chasing excitement.

The Solana ecosystem might first benefit from the attention, while $BTC is more like using overall market sentiment as an amplifier.

If it’s really going to move, I’d rather wait for a pullback and then try again. I don’t want to hard-chase in a spot where “everyone can see the good news.”

The market is changing—what’s true today might not be true for tomorrow. $BTC #BTC
