#دونالد_ترامب Intensively promotes shares available in his investment portfolio...
CNN journalists compared Trump’s investment disclosures with his posts on the Truth Social platform and found at least 44 instances in which he bought shares (in 21 companies) and then published positive posts about them within less than a week.
Examples:
➤ Purchased shares #NVIDIA $NVDAB worth $200,000–$500,000 a few days before his remarks about the company’s plans to build supercomputers for artificial intelligence in the United States, and his promise to speed up the issuance of the necessary permits.
➤ Purchased shares #Tesla multiple times, and at the same time posted about Elon Musk and the company’s production in the United States. After their dispute, Tesla shares worth $500,000 to $1 million were added to the portfolio, and the next day Trump wrote that he hopes for the prosperity of Elon Musk’s companies.
➤ On March 10, GE #Aerospace and Eli Lilly and #Apple shares were added to the portfolio, and only two days later he mentioned the three companies in a single post.
For its part, the White House confirmed that the investments are managed by independent entities and that the President and his family do not directly participate in choosing the investment deals.
