12 years as a programmer (up to 2026), same name across the internet: Crazy Jerrick.
Automated Master’s degree, former Microsoft engineer, Senior Software Engineer II.
Been in the crypto circle for 10 years. Not only have I not made money, I’ve also lost dozens of times.
I’m not afraid of you teachers laughing—my understanding of the crypto world is still at the level of elementary school students.
Like many others, I used to think trading depends on luck, on talent, on indicators, on news, and on other people.
Later I found none of it worked—so you still have to rely on yourself. That’s why now I’m all-in on crypto.
What truly changed me wasn’t some magical metric, but the start of re-understanding the market with constantly upgraded cognition.
My road here.
I entered this market 10 years ago.
What’s really interesting is that everyone I recommended to enter this market made money—except me.
Back then, BTC was only a few thousand dollars, and ETH was only a few hundred.
In WeChat groups, all kinds of trash project teams keep sending QR codes, pulling people into all kinds of groups.
I registered countless exchanges, held several wallets, and in those wallets were countless garbage coins bought through offline transfers on Alipay—blown up to the sky.
Every coin’s slogan is “the next BTC,” or like EOS: “One person only needs 1,000 EOS in a lifetime.”
In the crypto world, every year there’s a different myth of getting rich. Every year, something new comes along with a huge “making-money” effect.
Actually, based on what I’ve found, BTC basically goes through a bull and bear cycle every year—it’s just a matter of big vs. small scale.
In other words, you can actually pull out a round of profit from it every year—but my understanding is always crushed by human nature, always the one getting beaten.
I like gambling—I like making quick money. I always feel my spot profits come too slowly.
Then keep losing money on futures contracts, keep moving the spot money little by little into those contracts, until it’s all gone.
And then you watch a great market unfold, helpless.
Or you’re always rubbing against the other side of a super trend, testing back and forth—until you keep adding funds, keep getting liquidated, and then your mind becomes numb.
I’m a typical science-and-engineering guy.
I like breaking work tasks into models, data, logic, and probabilities.
But in the crypto world—or in investing—I've really never taken it to heart.
Ninety-nine percent of trading is based on instinct, not logic.
So now, I want to bring my work attitude into the crypto world.
What I do every day is basically only three things:
Research the underlying logic of the market
Use AI to help build your own cognitive framework
Automate everything that can be automated
I believe:
Trading isn’t predicting the future—it’s constantly correcting your trading system and your cognitive model.
Over these years, I’ve stepped into a lot of traps.
Chasing hot trends, following KOLs, worshiping indicators, believing insider info, trading based on emotions, and overtrading…
Only later did I understand:
There’s basically no detour in trading.
Because if you miss even a little…
You won’t be able to get out of it.
So now I don’t go around telling people what to do, or telling them, "How to buy this trade."
I’m more interested in discussing:
Why is it going up?
Why is it falling?
Why does capital flow here?
Why does this event change the asset valuation model?
People who truly make money often don’t look at the K-line itself—they look at the logic behind it.
Right now, I’m a heavy user of AI.
I treat AI as my second brain.
Train it every day—and train myself, too.
The goal isn’t to let AI make me money—it’s for AI to train me into a professional trader.
Cognition matters more than returns.
Models matter more than opinions.
The long term matters more than the short term.
Besides trading, I’m also a programmer.
If you have a mature trading strategy, or good trading ideas…
I can help you turn it into:
✅ Quant strategies
✅ Fully automated trading system
✅ Automatic monitoring, automatic execution, and automatic review
So the strategy can truly start working—not executing on emotion.
I often do live streams on the square.
I don’t run trades for others, don’t lead others by the hand, and I don’t have that kind of ability.
Talk about market logic, talk about AI, talk about automation, talk about trading cognition.
If you also like thinking, and not just copying homework, feel free to join and chat on a live call.
I hope we can all become the ones who ultimately profit by ourselves.
If you believe the market is driven by luck, we probably won’t be able to talk together.
If you believe the market has logic, probabilities, and models—welcome to meet and grow together.
