Since the beginning of April, ticket prices for many popular routes in Southern Europe have started to dip, according to a data analysis by Google Flights conducted by FT. From April 9 to May 6, the cost of airline tickets for a week in July fell on 27 out of 50 major European routes in the Mediterranean. On 15 of those routes, prices dropped by 10% or more. This includes flights like Heathrow to Nice, Manchester to Palma, and Gatwick to Barcelona, with a staggering 44% drop on the route between Milan and Madrid.
