I'm starting to think the biggest technology shifts aren't the ones people talk about the most. They're the ones people stop talking about because they become normal.
A few days ago, I overheard a conversation between two people trying to figure something out. What caught my atention wasn't the problem they were discussing. It was how quickly the solution appeared.
"Just ask AI."
The conversation moved on immediately. No debate. No alternatives. No discussion about where to look or how to verify it. Everyone seemed to share the same asumption without even realizing it.
That moment stayed with me.
Not because AI was involved.
Because social habits usually change long before people notice they've changed.
That's partly what led me to spend more time looking into OpenGradient and exploring OpenGradient Chat.
The more I think about it, the more one idea keeps nagging at me technology becomes infrastructure the moment people stop thinking about it as technology.
Maybe thats where AI is heading.
Maybe we're already there.
I don't think the most important question is how inteligent these systems become. I keep wondering what happens when entire groups begin treating intelligence as a utility that's simply expected to exist whenever it's needed.
