Seeing SpaceX receive the lowest ESG rating while simultaneously becoming one of the biggest companies in the world shows how innovation is never black and white.

On one side, they're reducing launch costs and expanding global connectivity through Starlink.

On the other, concerns about governance, emissions and orbital congestion shouldn't be ignored either.

It made me realize that being a great company and being a sustainable one aren't always the same thing.

Zuerst dachte ich, das sei etwas Einzigartiges für Krypto.

Aber nachdem ich SpaceX betrachtet habe, bin ich mir nicht mehr so sicher.

Denn was kaufen die Leute eigentlich?

Eine Firma?

Oder eine Geschichte über die Zukunft?

Die bullishe Argumentation ist leicht zu verstehen.

SpaceX dominiert die Starts, Starlink wird zur globalen Infrastruktur, KI kommt ins Spiel und Elon Musk bleibt einer der einflussreichsten Menschen der Welt.

Das bearishe Argument ist ebenfalls überzeugend.

Eine Bewertung von über 2 Billionen Dollar, einer der am stärksten überfüllten Trades auf dem Markt und Erwartungen, die möglicherweise bereits Jahre zukünftigen Erfolgs einpreisen.

Was ich faszinierend finde, ist, dass das überraschend ähnlich zu Krypto wirkt.

Jahrelang haben wir gesagt, Memecoins beweisen, dass Aufmerksamkeit selbst einen Wert hat.

Jetzt sehen wir, dass selbst die als "ernsthaftesten" wahrgenommenen Vermögenswerte ebenfalls stark von Erzählungen, Kommunikation und öffentlichen Figuren beeinflusst werden können.

Vielleicht war Krypto keine Anomalie.

Vielleicht war es ein früher Vorgeschmack darauf, wie alle Märkte funktionieren.
