🇮🇱🇮🇷 Unconfirmed reports out of Tehran: a targeted assassination in Andisheh, a western suburb, allegedly the first inside Iran since the April ceasefire.
The name circulating is Vahid Hakan, described as an IRGC-linked figure overseeing satellite contracts between Iran's state broadcaster and the IRGC's Khatam al-Anbiya network. Iran has not confirmed it. Some Iranian sources are calling it a gas leak.
Israel hasn't said a word.
If real, it's the first Mossad operation inside Iran since the ceasefire began. If it's a gas leak, Tehran has very bad timing with its infrastructure.
Confirmed or not, what does a Mossad assassination inside Tehran during a ceasefire do to the nuclear talks?
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump fired back an amended peace plan to Tehran with much harder language:
Full surrender of their ~1,000 pounds of enriched uranium, ironclad commitments to ditch any nuclear weapon dreams, and clear reopening of the Strait of Hormuz as international waters.
Iran’s still dragging their feet from the caves, but the message is loud: play ball or stay isolated.
