Falcon’s tiered staking multipliers made me rethink how commitment is structurally encouraged in FF’
The thought didn’t start with multipliers. It started with noticing how few systems actually reward staying put. Most DeFi incentives are framed around action. Deposit now. Lock longer. Claim more. Even when commitment is mentioned, it’s usually treated as a proxy for patience rather than something that reshapes behavior at the system level. That’s why the staking changes inside FalconFinance caught my attention, not immediately, and not because of headline numbers. What stood out was how the system began differentiating between capital that merely arrived and capital that accepted constraint. The distinction wasn’t moral or narrative. It was mechanical.
